Shipping Carriers

JustBecauseBaskets.com (JBB) ships via UPS and USPS. If you wish to use a different carrier or to use your own account, please contact us.

Shipping Options

When calculating the preferred delivery time and choosing a shipping option for your order, please factor in one full business day of preparation time. When you visit the Shipping page, select one of the following UPS delivery options:

·  UPS Ground (1-6 business days)
·  UPS 3 Day Select
·  UPS 2nd Day Air
·  UPS Next Day Air

USPS Ground is used for APO, FPO and PO Box addresses.

Shipping & Handling Rates

Shipping rates are determined by the delivery zip code, box size and shipment weight. Our shipping calculator will specify the total cost of your order based upon the desired time for delivery. Simply enter the destination zip code to view an estimate of the total for shipping and handling of your gift.

Shipping Perishable Items

Some JBB gift components – most notably chocolate - are sensitive to fluctuations in temperature.  To prevent damage or loss; these items will only be shipped if they will arrive on or before Friday of the current work week. If the basket will not arrive at its destination within the same work week the gift will be held until the next Monday to be shipped out. This prevents packages from being stuck in hot warehouses over the weekend. In addition, we pack all perishable orders with cold packs and insulated shipping boxes to ensure freshness. This special packaging adds $5 to the price of the basket. This will be added under the "Cold Pack Fee" during checkout. We charge only what it costs us to package and ship the product. This allows us to provide reduced shipping costs.

Product Substitutions

In the event that a specific basket component is temporarily unavailable at the time of order placement, JBB reserves the right to process the order with a substitute(s) item of equal or greater value. These replacements will be as close to the original item requested as possible. If a substantial part of your order requires substitution, a JBB staff member will contact you directly to discuss the specifics.

Sending Multiple Gifts

Shipping multiple gifts with JBB is quick and easy. Just click on the buy button next to each basket you wish to purchase. A shipping window will open and prompt you to enter your desired shipping address, shipping method and gift card selection. Just repeat the process and proceed to the checkout. If you wish to send multiple custom gifts all you need to do is design you gift basket click the “Finish This Basket” button to open the shipping window.

Shipping to Businesses, Hospitals, or Other Institutions

When entering recipient information, please be as specific as possible about the exact location intended for delivery. Kindly be sure to include the recipient's full name, room or suite number, floor number if applicable, department, etc.  Any other information that will help to ensure successful delivery of the gift can be added in the "Add Comments About Your Order" field during checkout.

Order & Shipping Notifications

Immediately following order placement you will receive a confirmation e-mail confirming your selections and offering an electronic receipt.  If you do not receive this confirmation e-mail, please contact JBB customer service for assistance. If you have strict e-mail security be sure to check your spam folder in the chance that your confirmation e-mails were accidentally placed there.  Once your basket has been successfully shipped an additional e-mail confirmation will be sent to you which includes a tracking code. To track you order please go to www.UPS.com.
 
Order Tracking

When your order is shipped you wil recieve a confirmation e-mail including a tracking number. Just go to www.UPS.com to see the progress of your package. Please be aware it may take up to 24 hrs for your tracking number to become active in the UPS system. If you have any questions related to the placement of an order or tracking / shipping exist, please contact JBB Customer Service at 1-866-748-1200.

Shipping Insurance

However rare, shipping problems occasionally do occur. Every basket that JBB ships is insured up to $100 of its value. If additional insurance is desired, please call JBB Customer Service at 1-866-748-1200.

Return Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your order please call us at 1-866-748-1200 or contact us via e-mail. The JBB Team will address the situation immediately.

In the event that an incorrect address or incomplete delivery information is furnished at order placement, the sender will be held responsible for all shipping charges incurred. Should a basket ultimately be returned to JBB following incomplete delivery, the cost of any re-saleable, non-perishable items, minus any shipping costs incurred, will be refunded.
